At Sunburst we have an extra large playground for 3 year olds and older. Our playground is equipped with age appropriate climbers and toys that will enhance your child’s large motor development and provide for many fun hours of outdoor exploration.

The Teachers

 

Our caregivers are dedicated to providing quality and consistent care for our children. They create a loving and nurturing environment that lets your child feel loved and encouraged throughout the day. To continue to provide the best care possible for our children, our teachers communicate with parents individually to let you know about your child’s day.

The Classroom

 

Our program provides three-year-old children with the opportunity to participate in themed-based, hands-on opportunities for learning, creativity, and play. Caring, consistent, and nurturing teachers facilitate emotional and social growth and academic success. Children have opportunities to make choices and to engage in individual and group projects, which include art, music, health, reading readiness, and physical activities. We feature a strong academic preparation curriculum within a discovery-oriented learning environment.

3 YEAR OLD PROGRAM

At this age, children make new discoveries daily. And as three-year-olds begin to express their independence, our program introduces them to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring.

Parent Involvement

 

Parents are always welcome at Sunburst Childcare Center.  We strive for consistency between school and home practices, and following through on all parents’ requests is key. You provide us with your child’s daily routine and we’ll use that as a guide for your child’s day with us. Please feel free at any time to share information with our caregivers about your child’s development, or any concerns you may have.
